Hello Ms. Cundiff !!! :)
How could Beethtoven know how the music he composed sounded if he became deaf?
Sorry Sidney it took me so long to respond... Beethoven probably had an idea of what it sounded like since he was not born deaf. He also felt the vibrations of the music. But, it is sad to know that many of his later pieces he never heard performed.
I get it now. Thank you for helping me understand how beethtoven understood how the music sounded.
I have another question. Did he ever make an overture to the Eastside story? I think that if they made him change the title than he should have made a new song and then called it The Eastside story. Don't you?
Bernstein was the composer of Westside story. The original title of the story was titled Eastside story however, the name changed before any music was really written. It was kind of like if you have ever written a story and as you began coming up with the plot and you decide to change the title.
Oh, okay I get it now. Thank u!
